The Purpose of the Bristol Republican Town Committee

The purpose of the Bristol Republican Town Committee (BRTC) is to promote the principles of the Republican Party and to promote the election of Republican candidates.
What We Do:
1. Support Republican candidates who are running for local, state and national office.
2. Recruit local Republican candidates for elective offices.
3. Provide opportunities for Republican candidates to address the Town Committee and the public at open forums.
4. Sponsor candidate nights for the public and/or public issues debates.
5. Elect delegates to the Republican pre-primary State Convention.
6. Offer or assist in fund-raising activities for the Party.
7. Election Day activities.

BRTC Mentor Program:
The Bristol Republican Town Committee offers a Mentoring Program to Registered Bristol Republicans who are considering running for any elected office. A committee of former and current candidates, managers, treasurers and advisers was formed prior to the 2009 Municipal Election  to help our candidates, or those who wish to be candidates. The Committees purpose is to meet with candidates to assess his or her needs, offer advice and general assistance.
